Dennis Lujan has lived in Las Cruces for 17 years and was immediately immersed in the art community. He has owned three art galleries in his 40 year career, one here in downtown Las Cruces, IN EFFECT Gallery from 2007-2010.
Lujan has had numerous one man shows in those years to current. In his philanthropic endeavors Dennis has always presented the best of his work to HIV/AIDS, Cancer Research and Alzheimers charities. Dennis Lujan does have a piece in the 2nd floor administration center of the Las Cruces Federal Courthouse. He also currently has a pink rose at the new Cancer Center in the hematology Labs.
Locally he has given to charity benefits spanning 7 years for the “Red Ribbon Bash”. Within the last five years Lujan has had multiple community art shows in his home for over 40 artists in one show alone. His work is ever-changing as does the medias.
Art warms the spirit.
