Officer refused three times to secure intersection from cars driving into protesters in Las Cruces, NM

Although most most drivers on the road were very supportive of the protest, at one point during the peaceful protest, three cars tried to drive through the protest line without regard for the protesters.  Several protesters tried to communicate with the officer who was present in the other lane and convince him to come over that no fatality would take place . . . but the officer pictured here below refused!
